Columbus Community Ofrenda

This evening the Columbus Museum of Art held its fourth annual Community Conversation on Grief as part of their exploration of the art and origins of Día de Los Muertos. Artist Renee Zamora created an incredibly beautiful community ofrenda, which is now on display at the museum. She invited us to add to it our own offerings, which I did.

It was a wonderful two hours with about 20 of us in attendance discussing the use of art and storytelling to process grief. I was happy for the chance to meet some incredibly cool and resilient people.
